Parking for Dog Show Competitors will be made available on the Ring Side of the Dog Show.

Please ask Car Parking Stewards for directions on arrival.

EXEMPTION Classes – Entry Fee £1

Special Award to be held for one year ‘The Brookfield Trophy’

Best Puppy award to be held for one year ‘The Truffle Trophy’

Class 1.   Any variety puppy (6-12 months on day of show)

Class 2.   Any variety Sporting ( Hound, Terrier, Gun Dog, etc)

Class 3.   Any variety Non-sporting (Working, Utility, Toy, etc)

Class 4.   Any variety Open

Winning dogs/bitches of Classes 1-4 to be judged for Best Pedigree Dog/Bitch Championship

Class 5.   Dog most like handler

Class 6.   Dog the judge would like to take home

Class 7.   Best Coat and Condition. Dog or Bitch

Class 8.   Best veteran (7 years and over)Dog or Bitch

Class 9.   Best Child Handler under 12 years (Rosettes for all entries)

Class 10. Best Child Handler 12-15 years (Rosettes for all entries)

Class 11. Best Non-Pedigree Dog or Bitch

 

Qualifiers for the following classes are Chatsworth - Weston Park (Countrymans Weekly) – Pride of Peaks (Hartington Wakes)
  • LURCHER Classes – Entry Fee £1
  • Special award to be held for one year - ‘The Sykes Trophy’
  • Special award to be held for one year – ‘Best Lurcher Puppy’ (Class 1)
  •     Class 1.    Best Puppy (6-12 months)

    •          Class 2.      Best Child Handler up to 15 yrs.

             Class 3.    Best brace any size/age

             Class 4.    Progeny Sire or Dam with one or more offspring

             Class 5.     Best veteran (7 yrs and over) Dog or Bitch

             Class 6.   Purebred Sight Hound (Dog or Bitch)

       Classes 7-15 eligible for Sykes Trophy

       Class 7.     Rabbiting Dog or Bitch (under 21ins)

       Class 8.     Rough Coated Dog (21in – 23in)

       Class 9.     Rough Coated Bitch (21in – 23in)

       Class 10.  Smooth Coated Dog (21in -23in)

       Class 11.  Smooth Coated Bitch (21in – 23in)

       Class 12.  Rough Coated Dog (Over 23in)

       Class 13.  Rough Coated Bitch (Over 23in)

       Class 14.  Smooth Coated Dog (Over 23in)

       Class 15.  Smooth Coated Bitch (Over 23in)

     

    Qualifiers for the following classes are: NWTF - Weston Park (Countrymans Weekly) – Pride of Peaks (Hartington Wakes)

     

    WORKING TERRIER Classes – Entry fee £1

    Special award to be held for one year- ‘The South Shropshire Hunt Supporters Club Trophy’

    Class 1.   Best child handler 15 yrs and under

    Class 2.   Junior Dog/Bitch 6-12 months

    Class 3.   Border Dog

    Class 4.   Border Bitch

    Class 5.   Lakeland or Patterdale Dog

    Class 6.   Lakeland or Patterdale Bitch

    Class 7.   Jack Russell Type Smooth Coated Dog

    Class 8.   Jack Russell Type Smooth Coated Bitch

    Class 9.   Jack Russell Type Rough Coated Dog

    Class 10. Jack Russell Type Rough Coated Bitch

    Class 11. Crossbred Dog

    Class 12. Crossbred Bitch

    Class 13. Any Couple of Terriers. Any Type. Any Age

    Class 14. Progeny Sire or Dam with one or more offspring
